Tetris offers a rapid pace but can feel stressful with its time limit. Block Blast Online eliminates the countdown, letting you place pieces at a relaxed pace. Simply drag shapes onto the grid, create full rows or columns to clear them, and solve puzzles without any rush.
Block Blast is a free browser-based 2D puzzle game where you arrange blocks on an 8×8 board.
Controls
- Click and drag blocks into their desired positions on the grid
Gameplay
You can choose between two modes, both centered on fitting blocks into an 8×8 layout:
Classic Mode
- Begin with an empty board and three pieces to place
- Shapes include I, L, T, Z, S, and more unlockable pieces
- After placing three blocks, a new set appears
- Clear horizontal or vertical lines to free up space
- Play until no more moves remain
Adventure Mode
- Start each level with a partially filled grid
- Complete objectives like clearing specified tiles or gathering gems
- Progress through increasingly intricate layouts
- Score 10 points per cleared line, with extra bonuses for combos
Both modes reward strategic thinking and careful planning to conquer the grid.
